Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-21
What we collect
- Your Slack user ID and team ID, so timers belong to the right person.
- An OAuth token for your Slack account, used solely to update your status, snooze your notifications, and DM you when a timer completes.
- A per-workspace bot token, used to send the completion DM as the Tomata bot.
What we don't collect
- Your messages, channels, files, or any other Slack content.
- Your email or personal details beyond what Slack exposes at OAuth time.
- Analytics. No third-party trackers. No cookies set by Tomata.
How long
Tokens persist until you remove the app from your workspace. To delete your data, uninstall Tomata from Settings & administration → Manage apps in Slack.
Where data lives
Tokens are stored in a SQLite database on a single private server. No third-party services touch your data.
