Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-26
The short version
Tomata is a free service provided as-is with no warranty. If it stops working, becomes unavailable, or eats your homework, the recourse is to uninstall it. By installing the app to your Slack workspace you accept these terms.
Service availability
Tomata runs on a single small server. There's no uptime guarantee, no service-level agreement, and no on-call rotation. The service may be paused, restarted, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Your responsibilities
- Don't use Tomata to harass others or spam Slack APIs through it.
- Don't attempt to extract data belonging to other users or workspaces.
- Comply with your Slack workspace's own terms of service.
No warranty
Tomata is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The maintainer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including lost productivity, missed deadlines, embarrassing Slack statuses, or skipped breaks.
Data deletion
To delete your data, remove Tomata from your Slack workspace via Settings & administration → Manage apps. See the privacy policy for what's stored and where.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
